Berkeley, Calif. — After Syracuse coach Fran Brown had finished the traditional doling out of game balls in the Orange locker room after the team’s 33-25 win over California on Saturday, backup running back Yasin Willis spoke up and announced the team had an award for him.
After clinching Syracuse’s third seven-win season in the past 11 years, Brown’s trophy from his team was a big bottle of Old Spice body wash.
